The American Eagle Model 400 CNC mill is designed and built to exceed CNC milling machines in its class. Equipped with the Anilatn 1100/ 1400 or Centroid CNC control, it gives a range of programming assists. The Eagle 400 CNC mill is constructed of Meehanite casting. The one piece head/rum eliminates deflection and error found in turret-type and multipiece fixed head machines. The use of superior "Turcite ? B" on all way surfaces, exclusive lubrication system, and square ways on saddle and column, insure smooth, strong, and lasting performance. Standard features include a 5-HP continuous spindle motor, backgeared head, extra wide 40" saddle, No: 40 taper spindle with a Kurt power drawbar, 1-1/2-HP power knee, and the ability to handle up to 5-axis milling operations.
