Cnc Bed-Type Milling Machines

Reiden Werkzeugmaschinen introduces CNC bed-type milling machines and machining centres with horizontal and vertical milling heads. The bed-type milling machines are based on a steel-made or gray cast iron construction. They can be expanded to a four-axis machining centre with a chain tool changer and table travels of 800 mm to 4,000 mm. If the automatic swivelling head is used as a programmable CNCaxis the usability of the machine is increased even further. Either ISO 50 (DIN 69871) or HSK (DIN 69893) spindle tapers with internal coolant supply are used. The machines are controlled by either Sinumerik or Heidenhain control systems. The machines are used in die and mould making as well as in general mechanical engineering.
