All Geared Head Universal Milling Machine

Siddhapura Machines offers an all geared head Universal Milling Machine, Model SM-2U. This stands ahead with elegant design and rigid construction. The machine is ideal for all types of metal cutting requirements such as horizontal milling and side and face milling. Furthermore, easily attaching the heavy-duty grip type vertical milling attachment, applications such as vertical milling and end milling can also be performed. As being a universal milling machine, grip type rack cutting and slotting attachments can be also attached. ISO-40 tapered spindle is made from EN-8 steel with ground finish, mounted on taper roller bearings ensure smooth and vibration free cutting. Auto feed box is separately mounted for Auto power feed and to remain steady against heavy cutting force. All the gears are made of EN-353 steel, duly hardened and ground finish. 1100 mm long and 280 mm broad top table can bear weight up to 300 kg. All the slides such as top slide, compound slide and saddle slide are prepared with ground finish which ensures accurate and precise machining. This table slide, cross slide and knee slide having flat guide-ways with taper wedges providing strength to stand against heavy cutting forces. Centralised lubrication system is provided for guide-ways and lead screws, splash lubrication for main and feed gears.
