Single & Double Disk Polishing/Lapping Machine

Qualitech Systems offers a single and double disk polishing/lapping machine. This polishing/lapping machine is designed according to the needs of metallographists. Single/double disc is independently driven by high torque motor(s). The speed will be continuously varied as indicated on the front fascia. Water faucet arrangement and paper holding band permits the discs for dry grinding and final lapping by corrosion resistant upper. Technical data: disc(s) diameter ? 8 inch; motor(s) capacity ? ? HP; and supply ? 15 A, 230 V, single phase. Description: polishing machine is used for polishing the metallography samples for microscopic observation to study various metal structures. Polishing: polishing is the final step in producing a surface that is flat, smooth, scratch-free and mirror like in appearance. Such a surface is necessary for subsequent accurate metallographic interpretation, both qualitative and quantitative.
