Burnishing is a cold rolling process on ferrous and non ferrous machined components. Achieving superior surface finish (four triangle finish 0.05 to 0.2 Ra) and close tolerance is easier with less cycle time in single pass. Further there is no rejection/rework in this process hence burnishing cost per component is negligible. The product range includes burnishing tools for internal diameter, external diameter, internal and external tapers, flat circular faces, grooves, etc. Besides using these products in conventional machines like drilling and lathe, the usage is extended to CNC machines as well. These tools are used in sectors like automobile, aircraft, defence, spacecraft, railways, textile, machine tool, motors and pump industry, hydraulic and pneumatic, farm equipment, home appliances etc., and areas where close tolerance and superior surface finish is required.
