Tide Water Oil Co (India) Ltd has introduced Metal Working Fluids to ease the metal working and machining processes. The new Veedol range of high performing metal working fluids promise efficient cooling and lubrication. While boosting performance of the machines by reducing heat and friction between the cutting tool and the work piece, they also help improve the quality of the work piece by continuously removing the fines, chips and swarfs form the machine components and the surface. Veedol metal working fluids also add to the industrial safety by preventing burning and smoking. Veedol Solucut Super is a superior grade of water soluble cutting oil made from refined mineral oils. When mixed with water it forms a milky emulsion. It has superior cooling and lubricating properties and gives a very good surface finish. It also has rust inhibitors to impart anti-rust, anti-corrosive properties and a biocide to prevent bacterial and fungal growth in the emulsion. Recommended concentration for typical applications

• General machining – 4-7
• Thread cutting – 6-8
• Reaming – 7-10
• Grinding – 5 min, sawing
• Drilling and turning – 5 to 8

Product benefits: free of occupational and environmental hazards caused by added boron additives, triazine biocides, chlorine EP, sulphur EP, sodium nitrate, silicon oil defoamers, phenolic couplers, nonyl phenol and NP ethoxylates and colouring dyes. Instructions for storage: store inside warehouse, ideally between 10°C and 30°C; store out of direct sunlight; and avoid water collecting on barrel top.
