Lapping Machines

Paraflat offers a Lapping Machine, EFLM series. This is an extremely flat lapping machine. Features: this is a zero ring concept machine; bottom construction is similar to SSM series; available from 18" to 48" lap plate diameter; part/parts are held by the pressure plate by air pressure; pressure plate rotates and also traverses along the cross-section of the lap plate; absence of conditioning rings ensures all abrasive media only for the parts; absence of conditioning rings ensures economy of abrasive utilisation; restriction on the condition of the lap plate for maximum part size, for any standard single side machine is eliminated as plate flatness is ensured; standard supply includes variable speed for lap plate and pressure plate travel; rigid pressure plate traverse coupled with positive movements infinitely variable ensures elimination of downtime required for lap plate correction; extremely useful where part sizes vary drastically and batches; a useful lapping concept, when the weight of the part far exceeds the area of the part to be lapped.
