Beside grinding and lapping, honing is one of the important fine machining processes in machining of bores. Sunraj Industries have developed the honing stick for fine machining process. SRI hones are manufactured with a special prepared matrix with diamond grains, which acts as an abrasive action during the performances. SRI hones are specially used for machining CI parts, engine cylinder, hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders and other components for automobiles industries. SRI hones raise the quality of bored holes and are available in different grain/grit sizes/ for different stock removal operation and finish required and have the ability to hone all types of long, short, blind bores, stepped bores with the required standards of the surface finish, dimensional accuracy and tolerances. SRI hones/honing sticks are available in diamond and CBN.
