Chd Cnc Saw Sharpening Machine

The CHD tungsten carbide tipped saw sharpening machine is engineer to grind the complete geometry of the top and face of the tip in one single setup. This means faster and accurate setup in saw blades with OD ranging from 3-1/16" to 51 Four CNC axes control bevel grinding top grinding path, grinding wheel feed, and teeth indexing. The hook and relief angle are controlled by a further NC axis. These are the necessary conditions to enable the machine to grind complex tooth forms with multi-planes and bevels. More than 40 tooth forms are pre-programmed in screen templates and can be ground in a single set up.The CNC indexing axis also optimizes the teeth feed process, reducing non-productive time a minimum. The CHD has a fully enclosed cabin for safety, noise, and emission protection. The PMC multiprocessor control system stores a large number of working templates and grinding programs. A wide variety of special applications are available: grinding of hollow saw tooth, hoggers up to 9/16" blade width, tooth forms with negative angles up to 30 degrees, and grinding of chipbreaker notching.
