Superion"s Burnishing Drills feature advanced engineering that is designed to increase tool life, hole quality and overall productivity over conventional HSS or carbide drills, Sub-land drills and three flute drills. Developed specifically for production drilling of cast iron, die cast aluminium and other non-ferrous alloy materials-burnishing drills are said to have gained in popularity with the automotive, aerospace, compressor and computer parts industries. Superion"s Burnishing Drills are offered with straight or spiral flutes, with coolant holes, solid carbide, carbide head or even with carbide tips for large diameter jobs.
