Burnishing one blade adjustable reamer

Super Surface Tools offers Burnishing one blade adjustable reamer or BOBAR with self-aligning machine adjustable reamer (SAMAR). Features: solid carbide blade usable on both edges; blade can be reground or replaced; two guide pads absorb and utilize the radial and tangential force in burnishing the bore; axial parallelism and ovality is controlled within 1 to 3 microns; same accuracy is obtained in broken and interrupted bores by extending the burnishing pads; BOBAR reams in a straight line and does not follow the pre-machined bore; stock removal can be 0.15 to 0.3 mm on the dia; size can be adjusted within the tolerances only, hence for each size there is only one BOBAR; can be supplied from 8.0 to 100.0 mm. This tool will be very effective on NC and CNC machines where autofeeds and copious coolant can be provided.
