Wire Straightening & Cutting Machine

The wire straightening and cutting machine, Type RSA, from Gebrider Hezel GmbH 8r Co, KG is designed for straightening and cutting of wire up to 12 mm in diameter. Upto a diameter of 7 mm, the wire is fed by means of three-phase servomotors and a pair of rollers. Length measurement is effected electronically. Up to 2,800 pieces per hour can be sheared at a cut-off length of some 100 mm. Without straightening devices wire rope can be sheared as well. Every length between 50 mm and 10000 mm can be set. If mainly short pieces are to be sheared the wire is fed by a hydraulically operated feed unit. It can draw in wire up to 12 mm in diameter. The cut-off length ranges from ten to 300 mm. If pieces are longer the feed unit can be advanced four times.
