Vertical Broaching Machine

Productivity Elements Pvt. Ltd. (PROTEL) has developed a cost effective Vertical Broaching Machine, Model Ecobroach, in mechanical version. The machine has a pulling capacity of 3000 kg and a max stroke of 800 mm. The machine is ideally suitable for keyway and spline broaching up to dia 25 mm, wherein automatic broach handling is not required. The broach slide is driven by ballscrew and nut and 2-speed motor of 3.1/4.6 HP with brake unit. The standard version has 3 cutting speeds of 2.8, 4.0 and 5.6 mtr/min with timing belt drive. Return speed of the broach slide is double of the broaching speed. Automatic broach release is same as in standard machines. The standard machine has automatic lubrication system and coolant equipment.
