Vertical Broaching Machine

Productivity Elements Private Ltd (Protel) has developed a cost effective mechanical version of Vertical Broaching Machine, Model Protel Ecobroach RB-3T/800, for high volume broaching application, where set up change is minimal like keyway broaching. The machine has a pulling capacity of 3000 kg and a max stroke of 800 mm. The machine has hardened and ground V guides with provision for wear adjustment. The broach slide is driven by ball screw and nut, timing belt and a 2-speed AC motor. 3 sets of timing pulleys are supplied as standard giving 3 broaching speeds, i.e., 3.0, 4.0 and 6.0 mtr/min. Broaching is done at lower speeds and the broach slide return is done at higher speed of the motor. The machine has dual braking system for precise stopping for automatic puller opening. Standard broach pullers to DIN 1415 and DIN 1417 can be used on this machine.
