Roll Coaters

ULVAC Inc offers a Roll Coaters in various series for various applications like continuously-wound plastic film, paper or metal foil. Models range from compact types for research, to systems for mass-production. They can be used to manufacture products such as packaging materials, capacitors and magnetic tape. Roll Coater EWA series: versatile evaporation roll coater for wide applications from metallic yarn to high barrier oxidation (Al, Au, Ag, Si…); EWE series: pattern evaporation roll coater for film capacitor; EWJ series: multi purpose EB evaporation roll coater for high melting material and sublimation material; CWD series: CVD roll coating system with expanding the applications from DLC protective layer for electric device to high barrier film; ETW series: roll etching system with expanding the applications to adhesion improvement, desmear and various patterning; SPW series: roll sputtering system with multi chamber modular concept; and multi process system (hybrid system): modular design system has flexibility to meet various multi process requirements with combination of evaporation, evaporation, sputtering and/or CVD modules in sequence. ULVAC roll coaters have been widely accepted in the market since 1950s. Employed for simple function with single layer structure such as metallic yarn in earlier days, now it is shifted to high performance application with multiple function from multi layer film (e.g., electric devices).
