Planer Machines

Jagdeep Foundry offers a wide range of planing machines from 1800 mm to 9100 mm stroke. These versatile planers can admit between columns jobs from 925 mm to 3000 mm. These machines are suitable for machining flat, V-shaped guideways, T-slots as well as vertical, horizontal and inclined surfaces. The extra heavy duty planers are sturdy in construction and have streamline appearance. Automatic lubrication adds to operational efficiency. Bed guideways have ample bearing surface and have been hand scraped to fine finish limits. All the required castings are stress relieved by thermal process to avoid distortion at a later stage. The castings are made with the addition of steel and other alloys to achieve the desired strength and to provide longer life. The machines can be provided with a number of attachments at extra cost as per customer's choice. These include DC drive with infinitely variable speed, 3-speed gear box, grinding and milling attachments and extra tool holder on cross rail and side column.
