Chain Drawing Bench

BIL offers chain drawing benches designed for cold drawing of bars. Available in three models, they can draw bars in sizes from 8 mm to 75 mm. The chain of the machine, made out of special alloy steel, is subjected to proper heat treatment, which minimises wear and eliminates stretch. There is a provision for cooling and lubrication of die for bright finish of bar and long life of die. The three models have a maximum draw speed of 4, 2.75, and 1.6 MPM; can give an output of 850, 1500 and 2000 kg/hr; and are driven by 20, 30, and 60 HP AC motor, respectively. The reverse motion of the trolley is mechanised and it has an automatic hook release system after the bar is drawn. The machine comes in standard length of 11 m and the same can be altered as per requirement of the customer. Each model has a variable speed gearbox with a choice of four speeds.
