Broaching Machines

Sahaj Industries offers Broaching Machine. Features: robustly constructed machine that cuts notches by means of a specially designed multi-toothed broach, which is drawn across the specimen by self -push of rotating hand wheel; and a simple hand-vice for holding the specimen built onto the machine. The tooling includes the adjustors and end stops necessary to ensure notch-depth and position are correctly set. These hand-operated machines are suitable for ferrous and non-ferrous materials, for sample preparation of V and U notches for impact testing machine. These machines will broach a notch in 10 mm square material to the following standards: ASTM A 370; BS131: Part 1: 1961 and Part 2&3: 1972; DIN 50 115; and IS/1598/1977. These machines can cut correct U and V notches in Charpy or Izod specimen by means of a multi-toothed broach.
