Crane-Bel offers a Broaching Machine. It is ideally suitable for automotive industry. This new machine integrates the latest technology of winged automation, most suitable for broaching of auto parts to close tolerances and good surface finish, with no production loss due to human inefficiencies and requiring no manual handling and broach cleaning. It enables to run the broaching machine in full automatic mode, without operator. Features: automatic job carrying systems to transfer job from the feeding line or a bin/hopper with the proper chute to the machine table and from the carrying system to the broaching station; automatic systems for job loading/positioning, broach handling, broach cleaning, and broaching operation; automatic job unloading system: job carrying systems to transfers the job from the unloading station to onward feeding line or a bin/hopper; high production rate, operator independent operation cycle, production monitoring to keep track of tool life and consistent quality; no pit mounting of broaching machine required, no manual job lifting and handling to the height of broaching machine; committed production rate, easy access to the broaching area to simplify the tool change and setting; and programmed programmable logic controller (PLC), and force monitoring system. Hydraulic power units are also used. The company also offers vertical internal broaching machines, surface broaching machines and the custom-built broaching machines, in the capacity range from 3 to 75 tonnes force can be provided with the unique winged automation system.
