Automatic Secondary Turning Machine

The automatic secondary turning machine NFA offered by K R Pfiffner AG is a further development of the Rorschach machine. Technical improvements have simplified the operating procedure. Radial or longitudinal turning combined with simultaneous end machining, including centering, drilling, boring, chamfering, is now made possible by usini single or combined tooling systems. Tapping and threading is also possible, depending on the machine configuration. Concentricity and stability are maintained using fixed or travelling carbide roller steadies. The tools can be adjusted during operation to give optimum results.
