Vertical Machining Centre

Sirius-UL/vertical machining centre with 20,000 rpm is targeted at the die and mould industry, based on the feed-back given by customers. Manufactured by HwaCheon Machine Tool Co Ltd, it is available in India from Stitch Overseas. With a table size of 1,100 x 600 mm, a travel range of 1,020 x 600 x 500 mm and its compact design, the machine achieves highest accuracy and performance with either 12,000 rpm or the optional available 20,000 rpm high speed spindle. Adopting a ?technical patent? jet-lubrication system which is using the company?s unique cooling oil (Hi-YUN), the Sirius-UL ensures minimum thermal deformation and vibration by the main spindle. The spindle motor is mounted to the spindle with a direct drive coupling, thus assuring a constant and stable delivery of torque and HP throughout the cutting process. A special heat absorption jacket inside the spindle removes the heat generated in cutting. It has a special designed slant frame structure, which provides additional stability on the X- and Z-axis and is build from a one-piece Meehanite cast iron block, based to provide maximum rigidity. The machine uses the rectangular box way on Z-axis that dampens vibration and oversized linear guide ways on X and Y-axis. The ATC mechanism is based on an efficient and trouble free cam movement system with double swing arm, which remarkably reduces tool change time to a minimum extent. It has a 30-station tool capacity as standard and has taper No: 40 which is available in either CAT-40 or BT-40 system. Perfect chip removal is ensured by separating the magazine from the machine base and constantly flushing the table with coolant providing clean working environment. The machine is most suitable for all kinds of die and mould applications.
