Vertical Machining Centres

Makino India offers high efficiency vertical machining centres with the stiffness and rigidity required for hard cutting applications; and the speed necessary to provide high surface quality for demanding die and mould applications. Salient features: fully enclosed ATC eliminating the frequent cleaning of tool pots; angular gradient walls and telescopic covers for efficient removal of chips; optimally designed for high structural rigidity and stiffness for high performance; unique spindle technology to maintain constant preload and low vibration; and Makino’s patented super geometric intelligence (SGI. 4) maintains higher federates and accuracy. The ATC is fully enclosed. This prevents flying chips, produced when machining at high speed, from entering the tool plots, thus, eliminating the need for cleaning the tool plots frequently. The high angular gradient on the walls and the telescopic covers ensure that the chips are transferred by a screw conveyor and efficiently evacuated to the rear coolant tank.
