The new range of alpha vertical machining centres from S & T Engineers have been designed to provide the speed, accuracy, performance and efficiency required by its regular customers. The new range comprises: Alpha LX range – this is an economical series, a two machine range that provides superb value to the “job shop”; Alpha FX range – a superior performance 3-axis LM guideways machine that gives higher performance for all production and die-mould environments; Alpha VX range – a hi-speed, two machine range, with direct drive spindle gives extremely high speed, for precision part and superior finish; and Alpha ZX range – heavy duty machine with box guideways makes for remarkably high torque for heavy metal removal.
