Oriental Machine Tools Company offers Milling Centre, S Series. It is of travelling column type. It is capable to do the complete machining cycle of a part from heavy cutting with high performance to semi-finishing and finishing with optimum accuracy. It can also include high speed electro spindles from 18,000 to 30,000 RPM. Basic specifications: longitudinal traverse, X-axis – 2,500 to 20,000 mm; vertical traverse, Y axis – 1,600 (2,000, 2,400) mm; cross traverse, Z axis – 1,000 to 1,500 mm; table area – 4,000 to 22,000 x 800 (1,100, 1,350) mm; rapid feed X, Y, Z axes – 25000 mm/min; working feed – 5-10,000 mm/min; square and round rotary indexing tables, from 630 to 1,250 mm; and complete guarding system.
