Five-Side Machining in One Set-Up

Kolb supplies vertical gantry machines and horizontal machining centres as well as flexible manufacturing cells and systems for medium and large size parts. Common to all types of machines is the changing of machining modules for applying various cutting technologies for five-side machining of workpieces in one set-up. The Kolb production range has been enhanced by vertical turning and milling centres for the categories of performance of Varimat and Cubimat. A turning machining module is also available. Complete machining of workplaces without manual intervention within a short time on one machine or a flexible manufacturing system incorporating various ty I pes of machines will be a challenge for the future.
