Five-Axis Machining Centre

Starrfrdsmaschinen AG introduces a five-axis HSC machining centre which has been designed for machining of impellers, blisks and other components, which require simultaneous five-axis machining. In case of cubic components with non-orthogonally arranged profile sections the rotational axes are used as fixed setting axes. This allows the complete machining of five sides in one set-up. The CNC control has a high processor capacity. The CNC is integrated into the drive system and features a completely digital design. Two types of motor spindles are available: a high torque version up to 12,000 RPM with 250 Nm and 40 kW as well as a variant with 20,000 RPM and 30 kW at 80 Nm. Both spindles come with a HSK A 63 taper.
