Combining Precision with High Milling Capacities

Alzmetall announce the launch of their vertical milling centre the BAZ 35 CNC LB (Long Bed). This is constructed with massive castings that show high inner absorption qualities and is designed for rigidity by integrating hydrodynamic block guides in all axes. X-Travels can be chosen. There is a 2 x 800 mm double bed and a 1 x 2500 mm Long Bed version available. The double grip tool changer has a chip-to-chip time of 3.9 seconds. The main spindle drive of a maximum of 33 kW with a torque of up to 300 Nm delivers a milling capacity in steel of more than 630 ccm/min. The spindle RPM ranges (stepless) can be chosen from 400 RPM/min to 12,000 RPM/min and the spindle is equipped with A40 shafts (DIN 69871).
