CNC Vertical Machining Center

Mumbai-based Sanki Machine Tools offers CNC vertical machining center, developed by Falcon Machine Tools Co Ltd, Taiwan. These Chevalier Model 2033 VMC-L centers are designed and built for heavy production and high accuracy. Some of the outstanding features include - X, Y and Z traverse 850 x 510 x 510 mm; spindle speed: 8,000 RPM standard, spindle supported by class 7 (P4) angular contact ball bearings; the spindle is assembled in dust proof and temperature controlled clean room; floating type configuration is employed in the tool unclamping mechanism, the unclamping force is supported by the main machine structure, a feature that increases spindle bearing life; Z-axis counter weight system helps in preventing the tool from digging inside the job on power failure; all the 3 axes employ C3 class high precision ball screw supported by class 7 (P4) angular contact ball bearings; the ball screws are directly coupled to axes feed motors; X and Y axes employ Japanese new style THK NR35 high rigidity and extra wide linear guideways, for X and Y axes linear guideways are provided for high rapid traverse of 30 m/min; Z-axis has square/box type guideways, which allow very stable and heavy duty cutting, rapid traverse 8 m/min; and Fanuc O-MD (Package 4) CNC control system with many CNC functions are standard feature. Other controls can be offered optionally. The positioning and repeatability accuracy of the machine are as per VDI DGQ 3441 (German standard), with less power consumption and hence reduced operating cost. 20 tools carousel type ATC is standard. Arm type ATC can be provided optionally. The machine can also be supplied without ATC.
