Okk, Japan, offers PCV 4011, a CNC vertical machining centre. The design of the machine is very innovative and has resulted in a very compact machining centre. Fanuc 18 MC CNC control system with 32-bit CPU is provided as standard. Motorised spindle can be provided optionally. Cam operated ATC results in faster tool change. The tool change time is 1.5 second. The standard spindle RPM is 6,000. Optionally 10,000 RPM, 14,000 RPM and 20,000 RPM can be provided. Spindle head is with RAM structure. This improves the cutting rigidity and results in high speed and high precision machine. Soft scale control and HQ control are provided as standard. By this control, the workplace can be machined at highest speeds without deformation. This feature increases productivity. Many optional items like pallet changer, chip conveyor, NC rotary table, touch sensor system etc, can be provided optionally. 'Me traverses of the machine are X 560 mm, Y 410 mm and Z 410 mm. Maximum table load is 500 kg and the spindle taper is BT 40. The X and Y rapid traverse is 30 metres per minute and Z is 24 metres per minute.
