Wrench- lock drill chucks with integral shank

Metallica offers Albrecht super chucks, which are extremely accurate, extreme strong and highly resistant to wear. This is because these are self-tightening, with hardened and accurately fitting parts. Wrench lock chucks, the new chuck model-have integral shanks (BT and ISO tapers). The integral shank makes them better suited to CNC milling applications because: the overall length is shorter than the same capacity of other superkeyless chuck mounted on a separate V flange arbor. The shorter length and one piece construction makes for a more rigid design than a separate chuck and arbor. The integral shank eliminates the possibility of the chuck slipping on an arbor. The cost of a Wrench Lock chuck is considerably less than the corresponding chuck/arbor combination. The other major improvement on the older model includes Wrench lock chucks incorporate wrench flats for additional tightening force. This is very similar in design to the super keyless chuck both styles can be opened and closed by hand. However, an operator can apply additional tightening force to Wrench Lock chucks by using a wrench.
