Wire Cut EDM Systems

Agie Charmilles offers a Wire Cut EDM System, Classic V. It is provided with a new improved user interface and IPG-V generator. It has an extension kit that handle wires down to diameter of 0.07 mm. In this, the metal is cut with a special metal wire electrode. The wire travels along a pre-programmed path. By differing movements of the upper and lower wire guides, angled or conical surfaces can be produced to the highest accuracy and with the finest surface finish.
