Variable-Speed Spindle

Techno-Isel's variable-speed spindle offers a low-cost solution for routing, milling, and drilling applications. The unit incorporates a speed control dial, located near the top of the housing, to adjust the operating speed range from 720 up to 2,160 RPM. The spindle uses industry standard ER 16 collets, including 1/8", 1/4", and 3/8". Model H24S50M23110 spindle consists of a variable-speed AC motor that is combined with a double-stage, belt-driven speed-reducer unit. The speed reducer provides an 11:1 ratio reduction thereby producing the high torque required for use in production automation applications.
