Tmlung Chucks With Hollow Taper Shank

Tmlung Chucks With Hollow Taper Shank

Although primarily designed for rough and finish milling applications, these durable HSK milling chucks can be used anywhere when rigidity, maximum gripping and improved accuracy are vital application requirements. Precise axial tool presetting is sumplified, since collet drawback during lock up is eliminated. Utmost rigidity is the result of a thick wall design which resists deflection even under heavy side loading. Maximum drive of up to 2,500 ft/lbs and resistance to cutter pull out is featured by a special slotting design and use of annular grooves within the chuck bore. The combination of slots and grooves cuts the oil film, utilizing maximum frictional advantages. Precision grinding, careful selection of materials and controlled heat treatment have made an enduring chuck design, offering concentricity within 0.0002" four inches from the nose. Seals are employed to resist contamination of internal components to increase service life while maintaining the ultimate in accuracy. The new line of HSK milling chucks are available in HSK 50A, 63A and 100A shank sizes varying from 0.5625" to 1,250" chuck capacity. Accessories include two straight collet variations to handle tool shank sizes ranging from 0.250" to 1.000".
