Tapping Chucks with Length Compensation

KTA Spindle Toolings offers HSK mounting tapping chucks with length compensation from M3 to M48 in four sizes in following ranges: KWFLK1 – M3 to M12 – length compensation – ±7.5 mm; KWFLK2 – M6 to M20 – length compensation ±12.5 mm; KWFLK3 – M14 to M33 – length compensation – ± 20 mm; and KWFLK4 – M22 to M48 – length compensation – ±22.5 mm. Application: for tapping on mechanically and NC and CNC machines like drilling machines, turning machines milling machines and machining centres. Features: very compact short design and very low weight; quick change to suit tap adaptors (KWE and KWES B); pitch difference compensation between feed and tap pitch; special device to increase the cutting pressure for + VE start of tapping cycle (adjusting screw – NB: this is not adjusting torque tapping); horizontal or vertical operations used for right hand and left hand tapping applications; all the chucks are ball cage op
