Standard Pcd Reaming Tools With High Performance

PCD reaming tools from Dihart are successfully used throughout the world for cutting aluminium and non-ferrous metals. A new addition to these is the standardised PCD reaming tools programmed. The new mono block tools are available with two and four cutting edges in the 4 to 20 mm diameter range. To keep delivery times and manufacturing cost to a minimum, brazed blanks are kept in stock in specific dimensions. These are then simply machined to specific bore dimensions, tolerance and cutting lead geometries against orders. This provides the user with high performance PCD reaming tools in the shortest possible time. The double insert tools allow maximum cutting depths to be achieved. The best accuracy of form and maximum feed rates are achieved with the version with four inserts. Dihart PCD reaming tools are particularly suitable for specific tasks such as bold and location holes in aluminium with bore qualities up to IT 5. For machining in precast bores, the reaming tool can machine directly, without roughing, with a material allowance of up to 1.5 mm.
