Shafts - Guide Rods

Optima Engg Corpn offers surface hardened and precision ground shafts made from high grade steels. The shafts have a surface hardness of 670 to 840 HV (58+62 HRC) and a surface roughness of Ra 0.3 (Rt 1.6). High depth as well as excellent geometrical accuracy and surface quality guarantee optimum running characteristics. Further, the shafts are hard chrome plated to prevent rusting. In addition, special machining like tapping, milling, threads, through holes, etc, is also executed on request. These shafts are used with linear ball bushes in linear guidance systems in machine tools, screen printing machines, SPMs, material handling equipment, textile machines, packaging machinery, rolling mills, etc.
