Self Centring Vice

The self centring vice features clamping jaws that are also made of tool steel hardened and ground. All parts are perfectly interchangeable. Special features: the base is made of close grained cast iron with Brinell hardness 180 and above; all components are machined to close tolerance; the base is hand-scraped to guarantee perfect squareness; `V’ blocks are made of tool steel hardened and ground and have two V shaped locations; and by simply reversing the `V’ block the clamping range can be enhanced.
