Self-Reversing Right-Angle Tapping Head

The RSR seIf-reversing tapping attachment for fouraxis CNC lathes is said to be the first and only self-reversing tapping attachment for right angle applications. Tapmatic"s "Constant Speed" design delivers instantaneous coupling and uncoupling between drive and reverse at speeds up to 2500 RPM, plus accurate thread depth within ?0.010. The compact design of the unit, no larger than conventional non-reversing tap drivers, is said to make for easy installation. The unit is available for ER collets or Intertap"s quick-change tap system. The Tapmatic"s RSR attachment is designed to adapt easily to any machine utilising the WTO modular system.
