Roughing end mills

Express Commercial Corporation offers a range of roughing End mills (hog mills) having ground profiles which are designed for Heavy cuts and stock removal without vibrations. They are suitable for both conventional and CNC machines. These have a sinusoidal radially relieved ground profile with full radius on each chip-breaker tooth and full radii grooves between the teeth, which facilitates easy disintegration of the chips into fragments without chatter even on heavy cuts. The tooth has been so designed to transmit the cutting pressure vertically along the tool, thus considerably reducing the lateral pressures and the consequent deflections, resulting in reduction in working energy to a great extent. The uniform ground profile and controlled concentricity brings all the cutting edges into simultaneous engagement during operation which prolongs tool-life and reduces cold built-up at the edges. The improved concentricity results in bright surface finish and substantial saving in power. Significant increase in productivity as high as 70% along with cost saving of over 30% can be accomplished. These end mills are manufactured from imported HSS stock conforming to AISI M35 (5% Co) and AISI M42 (8% Co) grades for optimum performance and heat-treated in closely monitored conditions so as to withstand extreme machining loads.
