Achieving superior surface finish (four triangle finish 0.05 to 0.2 Ra) and close tolerance is easier with less cycle time in single pass. Further there is no rejection/rework in this process hence burnishing cost per component is negligible. The product range includes burnishing tools for internal diameter, external diameter, internal and external tapers, flat circular faces, grooves, etc. Besides using these products in conventional machines like drilling machines and lathes, the usage is extended to CNC machines as well.
