Radius / Angle dresser

RAD-40 is a precision grinding wheel-dressing instrument that dresses two different angles tangent to a radius in one continuous motion. Dressing of grinding wheel can be done with easy operation. Both concave and convex radii with or without tangent angles can be dressed. No height gauge or dial gauges are required to set diamond point. Adjustment of radius value can be done with the help of micrometer or slip gauges. Diamonds with different shank diameters can be held. Large tangent travel (36 mm) enables it to dress the wheel with angle as low as one deg. on side face. The body and drums are made out of high quality graded casting and moving parts are made of hardened alloy steel to provide greater accuracy and life. Dovetail movement of drums ensures greater life and quality. It is rigid enough to avoid chattering on grinding wheel while dressing. The drum has graduations of 1? and vernier scale is graduated to 1/12? for accurate working on angle. Tenons are provided to stop drum rotation while dressing for tangent movement.
