Precision Racks

A Mannesmann Maschinenfabrik produces precision racks, especially deep-nitrided ones, in a variety of cross sections and diameters, with straight or helical toothing, in undivided lengths up to 8,000 mm, for highly dynamic axes used in machine tools, automation technology, laser cutting and measuring machines. The production technique applied enables optimum partition of rack lengths, a high surface quality and pitch accuracy over the total length so that extremely high travel speeds can be attained with the advantage of smooth running.
