Permanent Magnetic Chucks

Champion Industries offers a range of Permanent Magnetic Chucks manufactured with latest technology. Specially arranged magnetic system ensures accurate grinding with superior finish. Permissible machining can also be done while the chucks are installed on lathes, shapers or milling machines. These chucks are tested as per IS specification 4816:1971 for holding capacity, and carry a one-year guarantee against manufacturing defect. Salient features: 30 Percentage more magnetic working area due to extended pole design, for maximum output; the surface being ground remains non-magnetic hence the chips get washed out, that improves the surface finish; Indian standard specifies 36.5 kg slipping force for testing piece of 75 x 75 x 40 (mm) size – Champion chucks withstand about 45 kg force which is even higher than that of electromagnetic chucks which is expected to withstand 40 kg forces; these chucks are manufactured with special quality magnets to ensure strong grip even after intensive use for years – do not get demagnetised even if left without keepers; uniform magnetic field throughout the held surface ensures accurate grinding of small thickness job; special design of magnetic chuck as well as sturdy welded structure ensures grinding of very small thickness job; available in two models – Close pole 11 mm pole pitch and Standard pole 24 mm pole pitch; and standard sizes (in mm) – regular: 150 x 200/150 x 250/150 x 300/150 x 350/150 x 400, 150 x 450/200 x 300/200 x 350/200 x 400/200 x 450, 200 x 500/200 x 600/250 x 750, etc; and circular – 150/200/300/350/400/600 mm dia.
