Unitech Metalstamping Technologies has launched in India Advantage Series NC Servo Roll Feeders manufactured by P A Industries (USA). This series covers almost all stock material thicknesses and widths that are used in lamination stamping of various electrical and automotive parts. It is ideal for presses from 100 to 200 SPM, producing a variety of stampings, as one has only to enter the feed pitch and speed data into the control panel, thereby eliminating wastage of time and labour, further enhancing productivity and simultaneously simplifying the feeding process. The NC servo roll feeder is the perfect candidate to replace the pneumatic air feeder, which as studies have shown, in the long run, incurs high operating costs owing to the wastage of compressed air and constant wear and tear of rubber and other moving parts in the air feeder.

The Advantage Series is extremely accurate owing to its servo motor, planetary gears and Aramid fibre drive belt. This new ultra fast processor significantly increases accurate, high-speed performance from the AC brushless servo drive motor. The Advantage Series features 200-Job Storage, in Motion Micro-adjust Pitch Control while the press is running, Max Pitch Control, Servo Interface with press control, Kerf compensation and an Integral Programmable Rotary Limit Switch that can be included.
