Milling Heads

The Milling Head is a machining centre for retrofitting with the planing machines to convert the same into plano-millers. The Plano miller so developed is capable of performing planing, milling, drilling and boring operations. Thus, utility/efficiency of the machine increases manifold. The vertical/horizontal milling heads are available in standard speed range of 4, 6 and 9, etc. This range can be suitably changed/adopted to suit the particular requirement of the customer. The gears of milling head are made of highly wear resistant alloy steel and are duly hardened to ensure longer life thereof. Similarly, the spindle is also made of alloy steel and is hardened and precision ground to fine finish limits. The castings of milling head conforms to grade 20 of IS-210 and are stress relieved by thermal process after rough machining to avoid any distortion at a later stage.
