Magnetic chucks

Prime Machine Tools offer permanent magnetic chucks for installation on lathes, shapers and milling machines. These chucks are tested as per IS 4816, 1971 for holding capacity. These chucks offer 30 percent more magnetic working surface and since the surface being ground remains nonmagnetic, the chips get washed out. The chucks can withstand 45 kg slipping force against that specified in IS standard of 36.5 kg. Ferrite magnets are used, which do not get demagnetised even if left without keepers. Several sizes of rectangular and circular chucks are available.
