Long Reach Milling Attachment

Brisk Tech Engineers offers a Long Reach Milling Attachment. The company has developed this long reach milling attachment (extendable milling attachments) to mount on the horizontal floor boring machine. It can be used for machining inside the bore for bigger couplings, shells, etc., involve certain right angle or square shape machining or key way slotting at a distance from the machine spindle inside and outside the job. The long reach right angle attachment is specially designed to do such critical machining operations. It consists of a single piece cast body, a pair of spiral bevel gears, a spindle and a shaft and worm and worm wheel for tilting the attachment. Input and output ratio is generally 1:1. Spindle-taper to be provided is BT/ISO/MT. A pair of taper roller bearings rigidly supports the spindle in the front. After the drive bevel gear, an angular contact bearing supports the spindle on the back. The well designed bearing system ensures proper location support as well as preloading. The spindle, shaft, and gears are made of EN-353, case hardened and ground. Technical specifications: spindle bore – ISO 40/BT-40/MT-5; max speed – 100-2000 RPM; tool locking – manual/hydraulic; head tilting – 360 degree; working minimum bore – 200 mm; and working length max – 1.5 mtr.
