Hegde Precision Engineering Works, an ISO 9001-2000 company, specialises in precision components for auto industries. It offers indexing collet/milling fixtures with the following features and applications: all models cover the entire range of indexed milling operations either horizontal or vertical; job clamping is fast, indexing is quick and accurate thereby increasing the efficiency; moveable parts are hardened and ground ensuring long life; horizontal and vertical models can be mounted horizontally, vertically and in function cover the advantages of dividing head and rotary table put together; smooth and easy to index, indexing accuracy is very precise, can be used on surface grinding also; it is bearing mounted with taper roller bearings and ball bearings, mounted on jig bored holes; it is provided with a tailstock to facilitate centre support for long shafts or long jobs; tail stock centre is sliding in accurately ground and hardened bushes; comes in different versions, viz., chuck mounted 100 and 160 mm, collet mounted A-42 and A-60; and an ideal substitute for dividing head as there are 24 indexing positions, for every 15°, in addition there comes a graduated collar with 1° least count, which facilitates odd degree indexing also.
