The Horizontal Machining Centre, HS Series has high productivity and performance by incorporating various innovations. HS series machine is available in 2 sizes: pallet size - 500 x 500 mm and 630 x 630 mm. The unique spindle design includes "built-in" motor and refrigeration type spindle cooling unit as standard features. HS630 is available with BT40 as well as BT50 spindle and covers the entire range of machining from light aluminium components to heavy cast iron and steel components. High speed machining of components and die/moulds is possible using customised features of SHG1 and SHG2 software.
Rapid traverse: 45 m/min (feed up to 20 m/min), tool change time 3.8 sec (chip to chip) help in minimising the idle times, spindle RPMs up to 20,000 are available to ensure high speed machining.
