High-Speed Machining Spindles

Riya Electrodes offers High-Speed Machining Spindles, HES510 Series. Features: a state-of-the-art 3-phase, brush-less DC motor and microprocessor based control unit; the system is capable of up to 50,000 RPM and 250 W output. Simple, reliable compressed air is used for motor cooling and spindle protection making this spindle very easy to install on any machine in just a few minutes. Very smooth rotation and extremely high spindle accuracy allows diameter 2.0 mm or smaller tools to be used at very high feed rates. The use of small diameter tools at very high feed rates makes it possible to machine very hard materials and very difficult features that previously could only be accomplished with EDM. The ability to interchange the high speed spindle with taper tool holders allows users to enjoy the advantages of low speed, high power machining with the machine"s main spindle and high speed, extremely accurate machining with the HES510 motor/spindle all on the same machine. The HES510 Series is also available in BT30/40/50, NT30/40/50/30M/40M/50M, CAT40/50, IT40/50 and HSK A63/A100 tapers.
